The folder graph becomes a force-directed map of dots sized by what they hold, Gemini 3.8 Flash joins the model menu as the new default, and ASCII diagrams in replies stay aligned.

The graph view used to draw your folders as a top-down tree of cards, like an org chart. It now draws them as a map: each folder is a dot, related folders pull together, and busier folders take up more room. Alongside that, the model menu picks up a newer Gemini and a new default for fresh conversations.
The folder graph is now a force-directed map. Folders are laid out by a physics simulation rather than stacked in rows. A child folder settles closer to its parent than to any other tree, folders never sit on top of each other, and separate top-level trees gather into one cloud in the middle of the canvas instead of drifting off-screen. Connections are straight lines from the centre of one dot to the centre of the next, and they highlight on hover or when selected. On open, the view fits everything in frame without zooming in past 100%.
Dots sized by what they hold. Each folder's dot grows with the number of notes and subfolders inside it, up to a cap, and bigger folders push their neighbours further away, so the busy parts of your library stand out at a glance. The folder name sits beneath its dot.
Gemini 3.8 Flash, and a new default. The model menu now offers Gemini 3.8 Flash, described as fast multimodal reasoning for agentic workflows, and it is the default for new conversations, replacing Kimi K2.6. Gemini 3.6 Flash has been removed; a conversation that was set to it now falls back to Gemini 3.8 Flash.
