WanderNotes 1.47.0

Dialogs instead of inline editing on mobile, a sign-out you can't trigger by accident, and a tidier landing page.

29 July 2026

A round of small mobile corrections. The theme is fewer accidents: taps that used to commit something immediately now ask first, and the things that got in the way of your content are gone.

✨ What's new

  • Signing out asks first. The sign-out button on your profile page now opens a confirmation dialog explaining that you'll need to sign in again to reach your notes. Previously a single tap ended your session outright — easy to do by mistake on a phone, where the button sits close to everything else.

  • Renaming a note happens in a dialog. Tapping a note's title on mobile now opens a rename dialog with a clearly focused field and explicit Cancel and Save actions. The old behaviour turned the header itself into an editable field with a small tick to confirm, which was fiddly to hit and easy to leave in a half-edited state.

🚀 Improvements

  • The floating actionables window is gone from mobile. It overlapped your content and competed with the bottom tab bar for the same corner of the screen. Its actions live in the tab bar and page headers instead.

  • Search opens where you can see it. The search spotlight now sits lower in the viewport, so the query field and first results stay visible instead of being pushed behind the top of the screen when the keyboard appears.

  • A calmer landing page. The Releases link moved into a proper header row at a size that no longer competes with the hero, and scrollbars across the landing page and the release pages were cleaned up so they stop appearing over content mid-scroll. The back arrow on the releases page is now a plain transparent icon with proper spacing from the screen edge.
